Barista

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled barista to join our team at Oh, For Goodness Cake Darwin Centre Stall. The ideal candidate will be trained in preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires knowledge of coffee flavors, brewing methods, and drink recipes. The candidate must also be comfortable working independently for large portions of the day and be available to work Sundays and Mondays. Hourly wage is dependent on age and experience. Would be a lot lots of hours available but only around 18 hours / 2 days guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beverages, snacks, and pastries

• Offer advice to customers on drink choices

• Operate coffee machines and other equipment

• Clean and maintain equipment and work area

• Monitor stock levels and order supplies

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and recipes

• Good time management skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Attention to detail
