THE ROLE

• The Casting Assistant sits at the heart of TAG Live®’s casting and recruitment process

• Support the Casting Manager and creative team in securing performers across live shows, Kids Clubs, Sports and Leisure projects

• Play a key role in both casting and recruitment processes, ensuring organisation, communication and performer experience are handled to the highest standard

 

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Manage the casting inbox, ensuring timely, professional and welcoming communication

• Keep on top of Spotlight applications and casting adverts

• Maintain and update casting databases, trackers and spreadsheets with accuracy

• Coordinate audition logistics, including schedules, materials and communications

• Support and run audition administration

• Manage self-tape requests and track submissions

• Communicate confidently with agents and performers throughout the casting process

• Handle offers, follow-ups and confirmations

• Support auditions in the room when required

• Work closely with the creative team to understand role requirements and casting needs

• Manage recruitment for Activity Team Members across multiple projects

• Be heavily involved in the full recruitment process for Activity Team Members across multiple projects, including managing applications, using external recruitment sites, communicating with applicants, organising online workshop logistics, assisting with workshops, liaising with internal Activity Team Managers, managing the recruitment database and issuing offers

• Assist with college and showcase visits, including audition workshop days, agent panel days and showcases

• Work to short turnaround deadlines in a fast-moving environment

• Present and speak confidently in group settings when representing the casting team

 

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Essential

• A background as a performer

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Confident written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, systems and administrative processes

• Able to juggle multiple projects at once

• Calm and composed when things get busy

• Proactive and solution-focused

• Passionate about the industry and the talent within it

• Approachable and genuinely enjoy working with people

Desirable (But Not Essential)

• Previous casting or talent experience

• A background in singing/vocals

• Some established connections with agents
