Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery in South West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Skills:

– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the early childhood education field

– Strong leadership and management skills

– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

– Knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum

– Ability to work effectively under pressure

Responsibilities:

– Oversee day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.

– Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children.

– Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members.

– Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress.

– Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

– Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent required.

– Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or similar role.

– Knowledge of EYFS curriculum.
