Itโs March already, which means one thing โ weโre back with another edition of the Employment Hero product update. With 2024 in full swing, weโre sharing all the product updates weโve been hard at work on this year.
Over the last month, weโve created a new build your own chart feature, added a setting for annual policy acknowledgement, enhanced performance review management, made rostering available for HR platinum customers and lots more. Itโs all here and ready for you to use in-platform โ letโs get to it!
You can now access the Build Your Own Chart feature in the new Build Your Own Report experience
We know you love our Custom Reports feature, which is why weโve been making it more useful for your business operations.

Set induction content and policies to be acknowledged annually
Compliance is on every business leaderโs mind right now. Thatโs weโre making it easier to stay one step ahead with the launch of our new setting, allowing induction content and policies to be renewed and acknowledged once-off or once a year.
When set to yearly, the induction content or policy will be marked as required, and employees will be notified via email to acknowledge the document one year from the existing acknowledgement date.

Enhanced performance review management
Say hello to new custom security groups to help you view and manage performance reviews better. These enhanced settings allow you to provide those who need to be informed with greater flexibility and transparency when managing performance.
Performance review management
This custom security setting allows users to manage questions, templates, and review periods. This group will not be able to view review responses.

This custom security setting allows users to review responses both in the platform and in the downloaded reports.

- Enable custom security settings to allow employees and managers to view, modify and delete shifts within the roster
