Description

Machine Operator – uPVC Window & Door Manufacturing

Build something better. Work with modern machinery. Be part of a growing Australian manufacturer.

Thermotek Windows & Doors is not your standard manufacturing business.

We manufacture high-performance uPVC windows and doors for homes and projects across Victoria, using European-style systems, modern production equipment, and a strong focus on quality, precision, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to join our production team at our Dandenong South facility.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with machinery, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a business that is growing, improving, and investing in better ways of working.

What you’ll be doing

You will be involved in the manufacturing of uPVC window and door frames, including:

  • Operating production machinery and equipment
  • Cutting, machining, welding, cleaning, and assembling uPVC profiles
  • Reading production paperwork, measurements, and job requirements
  • Checking product quality throughout the manufacturing process
  • Working safely and keeping your area organised
  • Supporting the production team to meet daily targets
  • Identifying issues and helping improve the way we work

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
  • Comfortable using machinery, tools, or production equipment
  • Able to follow instructions, measurements, and processes
  • Safety-focused and quality-driven
  • Physically capable of working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
  • A team player with a good attitude
  • Willing to learn and take pride in their work

Previous experience in window and door manufacturing, CNC machinery, aluminium, timber, uPVC, glazing, or general manufacturing will be highly regarded — but the right attitude is just as important.

Why join Thermotek?

This is a great opportunity to join a business that is moving forward.

You will be part of a team manufacturing a product that is growing in demand across Australia, with uPVC windows and doors becoming a smarter choice for energy efficiency, comfort, and long-term performance.

We offer:

  • Full-time, stable employment
  • Modern manufacturing environment
  • Training and support
  • Opportunities to grow with the business
  • A team that values quality, safety, and improvement
  • A product you can genuinely be proud to help build
