About the role
At Empire we approach advice differently to most advice firms, and as one our Technical Advisors (paraplanner) you’ll play a pivotal role in that differentiated approach.
This is a full-time paraplanning role based in our office in beautiful East Perth. As a Technical Advisor at Empire Financial Group, you will be a key member of our Financial Planning team, responsible for providing comprehensive support to our Financial Advisors.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing detailed financial plans, statements of advice and research reports for client meetings
- Conducting thorough research, analysis and modelling to identify appropriate strategies and financial products for clients
- Maintaining client records and documentation in accordance with compliance requirements
- Collaborating closely with Financial Advisors to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation, regulations and industry best practices
- Providing support and guidance to more junior members of the team
What we’re looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in financial planning, accounting or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar financial planning role
- Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, investment and superannuation products
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes
