The Role

APF Cold Storage & Logistics is seeking Forklift Operators / Cold Store Operators to join our team in Adelaide. We operate across chilled, ambient, and frozen environments and require operators who work safely, accurately, and efficiently.

We offer two Monday to Friday shift patterns:

6:30am – 3:00pm

8:30am – 5:00pm

Shift Times can be adjusted for the right candidate.

Roles are available on a full‑time Salaried basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating high‑reach, counterbalance, and electric pallet‑jack forklifts across all warehouse functions in chilled (2°C) and frozen (‑18°C, short‑duration) environments.
• Loading and unloading trucks in line with APF safety and compliance standards
• Picking and packing orders using RF scanners and WMS systems
• Handling palletised freight, including fragile, oversized, or mixed‑SKU pallets
• Shrink‑wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch
• Completing manual handling tasks when required
• Maintaining clean, safe, and compliant work areas across all temperature zones

Skills & Experience

• Current forklift licence with 6 months operating experience (advantageous, but we are open to training the right candidate).
• Experience in cold storage or high‑volume warehouse environments (advantageous)
• Reach truck experience (desirable)
• RF scanning experience and strong understanding of warehouse workflows
• Proven reliability and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow APF procedures
• Comfortable working in cold and frozen environments
• Willingness to assist with ground‑level tasks when required
