Area Manager

Perth based Commercial Cleaning company is in search of a hands-on Area Manager to join our team. The emphasis of this role is to ensure client satisfaction – ultimately ensuring long-term client retention.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for

• Client service management
• Managing a portfolio of clients & building excellent long-term client relationships
• Managing complaints & Disputes
• Cleaning team training & management
• Conducting new contract start-ups and implementations
• Conducting Site Audits & Risk Assessments
• Inspecting completed work & ensuring rectification of non conforming work is carried out promptly
• Previous experience in any service based industry at a supervisory level of at least 2 years or more is required, however, management experience directly in the commercial cleaning industry would be a distinct advantage.

To be successful in this position, you MUST;

• Be fluent in both written & spoken English and have EXCELLENT communication skills
• Be an Australian permanent resident/citizen or have the right to work in Australia indefinitely
• Be pro-active in trouble shooting and providing workable solutions
• Be able to think and act quickly & use your common sense
• Take pride in your work and have outstanding personal hygiene & presentation
• Be flexible with working hours
• Be highly organised, self motivated and a have a structured and systematic work ethic
