Senior Florist

The Nunhead Gardener is looking for a talented Senior Florist to join our Camberwell team. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced florist with strong design skills, excellent client communication, and the confidence to lead and inspire others.
You’ll work on a wide range of floristry:
- Weddings – from bridal bouquets to event flowers, confidently interpreting briefs and costing proposals.
- Funerals – producing sensitive and professional tributes such as sprays, wreaths, letters, and sympathy flowers.
- Contracts – creating weekly flowers for a high-profile London restaurant, with scope to grow this part of the business.
- Seasonal – leading Christmas wreath production and other peak-time creations.
Alongside design, you’ll support junior florists, deputise for the Head Florist, manage stock, and coordinate with our other stores to ensure fresh bouquets are delivered daily.
You’ll also work closely with the wider retail team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What we’re looking for:
- A strong portfolio covering weddings, funerals, and/or contract work
- Several years’ experience in floristry, ideally with supervisory responsibility
- Excellent client-facing skills – sensitive, warm, and professional
- Organised, commercially aware, and confident costing and quoting
- A passion for flowers, plants, and design
