The Role: We’re looking for a high-output Digital Designer to own and scale design across Frive.
You will be responsible for creating design that drives attention, improves performance, and supports growth – across organic social, paid ads, CRM, web & print.
You’ll be the sole in-house designer, working closely with Growth, Brand, and an AI Engineer to:
- Take ownership of both design execution and idea generation, contributing to what we make – not just how it looks
- Deliver high volumes of creative
- Improve performance through design
- Build systems that scale output
You need to be fast, organised, and focused on one thing:
- Does this creative perform?
What You’ll Do
1. Creative Production
Create static and light motion assets (including GIFs) across:
- Paid ads
- Organic social
- CRM / email
Produce high volumes of creative consistently, without compromising performance
Design with speed — responding quickly to testing, feedback, and new opportunities
Focus on:
- Scroll-stopping visuals
- Clear messaging
- Conversion-driven layouts
2. Design for Paid & Growth
Work closely with Growth to produce ad creative that drives results
Generate and develop design-led ideas and concepts, not just execute briefs
Turn campaign goals, product messages, and growth insights, into clear, compelling visual ideas
Iterate quickly on:
- Variations
- Hooks (visual + copy pairing)
- Layouts
Continuously test and refine creative based on:
- Performance data
- What’s winning in-platform
3. Trend-Led & Social-First Design
Stay chronically online, tracking:
- Trending static formats
- Ad styles
- Social design trends
Identify opportunities to:
- Adapt trends to Frive
- Create new formats that feel native to platform
Design content that feels:
- Current
- Relevant
- Built for the feed
4. AI & Scalable Design Systems
Work closely with the AI Engineer to:
- Build and improve AI-driven design workflows
- Increase output without sacrificing quality
Use AI tools to:
- Speed up production
- Generate variations
- Test creative at scale
- Help define how AI integrates into the design process
5. Campaign & Brand Execution
Collaborate with Brand & Growth on:
- Campaign concepts
- Product launches
- Trend-led activations
- Ensure all creative maintains a consistent and high-quality brand standard
Build and evolve:
6. Design Across Channels
Design for:
- Print (inserts, direct mail)
- Web / app banner testing
- Email / CRM
- Partner and internal materials
- Adapt creative to different formats while maintaining clarity and impact
7. Organisation, Speed & Execution
Manage a high volume of files, versions, and outputs with accuracy
Maintain strong systems for:
- Naming
- Asset management
- Version control
Ensure work is delivered:
- On time
- Correctly formatted
- Ready to launch
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–4 years of graphic design experience, with a strong digital portfolio
- You are chronically online – tracking trends, formats, and collaborators who can deliver innovative content
- You have no ego in the work — you care about what performs, not who came up with it
- Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma
- Experience designing performance creative for paid social
Strong understanding of:
- Layout
- Typography
- Colour
- Visual hierarchy
Ability to design for:
- Attention
- Clarity
- Conversion
Comfortable working at high volume and speed
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Strong communicator, able to collaborate across teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI design tools and workflows
- Interest in building scalable creative systems
- Basic motion / animation skills
- UX / UI or product design exposure
- Experience using Notion or similar tools
