About the Role: 

We are looking for a full-time detail-oriented and organised Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payments, contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance operations. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Responsibility for the end-to-end payables process, including invoice coding, verifying approvals, and processing in Xero and MYOB through to payment 
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the finance team 
  • Prepare ad hoc related reports and tasks as required  
  • Respond to supplier queries and resolve invoice discrepancies 
  • Assist with month-end closing activities 
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient invoice approvals and workflows 

 

What we require from you: 

  • Basic understanding of the Accounts Payable and purchases transaction stream 
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team 
  • Aptitude for numbers 
  • Be well organised 
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills 
  • Ability to manage time and priorities in a dynamic environment 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A basic understanding of GST
