We’re looking for a Programmes Manager to support the
delivery of clinical and health improvement programmes across thePHO. This role
plays a practical, behind-the-scenes role in keeping programmes running
smoothly, on time, and well supported across regions.

About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will coordinate
thePHO’s clinical, quality improvement, and mental health programmes.
You will work closely with the Clinical Director, Nursing
Director, Mental Health Manager, Regional General Managers, and Finance
Director to support programme set-up, delivery, reporting, and continuous
improvement. This role brings structure and follow-through to complex programme
activity.
What you’ll be doing | Ngā mahi matua
You will:
- Coordinate
clinical and quality improvement programmes across the organisation
- Support
the annual quality improvement cycle and related programme activity
- Track
Foundation Standard requirements and accreditation support activity
- Support
new contract acquisition and programme transition work
- Prepare
programme reports for clinical governance and management
- Maintain
programme documentation, calendars, and reporting systems
- Work
with regional, clinical, and finance teams to support delivery and
reporting.
This is a hands‑on coordination role with clear
accountability and national scope.

programme coordination, project management, or health administration, ideally
within a health, public sector, or community setting.
You’ll be able to demonstrate the following:

organisational and coordination skills
- Experience
managing multiple workstreams and deadlines
- Confidence
preparing clear reports and maintaining accurate programme records
- A
practical, calm approach to problem‑solving
- An
understanding of how well-run programmes support people on the frontline.
You are comfortable working with structure, detail, and
deadlines, and you keep delivery moving.
