We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Water & Services Foreman to join our team and lead crews delivering watermain, renewal, and submain works across the Canterbury region. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being out on site, leading from the front, solving problems, and driving strong team performance while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

About the Role

  • Running and coordinating daily site activities
  • Leading watermain, renewal, and submain installation works
  • Planning labour, plant, materials, and workflow
  • Coordinating subcontractors and onsite activities
  • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Maintaining QA and daily site documentation
  • Monitoring productivity, programme, and quality outcomes
  • Promoting a strong health and safety culture onsite
  • Supporting and developing crew members

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in water infrastructure and civil construction
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate crews
  • CCC Approved Water Installer qualification
  • Ability to work to programmes and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality expectations
  • Ability to read and interpret plans confidently
  • Minimum Class 1 licence with WTR endorsements
  • Drainage tickets advantageous
  • A practical, solutions-focused attitude
