Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Foreman to oversee drainage projects in Christchurch, Canterbury. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the effective management and execution of drainage systems. The ideal candidate will possess intermediate-level experience and a strong understanding of drainage operations, contributing to the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate drainage installation and maintenance activities on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Liaise with other teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the drainage process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in drainage installation and maintenance, preferably in a foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of drainage systems and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
