About the role
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team on a fixed-term basis while we merge financial systems and processes. This role provides essential accounting and administrative support across the business, helping to ensure accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and excellent support to operational teams during an exciting period of integration and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and financial records, resolving discrepancies as required.
- Assist with month-end and year-end activities.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of financial information and reporting data.
- Provide financial support and guidance to operational managers on invoicing, billing, and account queries.
- Assist with the review and improvement of finance processes, systems, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in line with company policies and audit requirements.
- Contribute to a high level of customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
You are a proactive finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or a general accounting position.
- Sound understanding of accounting processes and financial administration.
- Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP or accounting systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support both finance and operational teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
