Description

About us

REINZ supports more than 17,000 real estate professionals across Aotearoa New Zealand. For more than 100 years, we’ve championed a world-class real estate profession through education, data, advocacy and member support.

We operate in a fast-moving, member-led environment where commercial thinking, digital performance and strong customer experience matter. As we continue to evolve and strengthen our marketing capability, we’re looking for an energetic and commercially minded Marketing Lead to help drive the next phase of growth and engagement.

The Role

This newly created role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is ideal for a marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys making things happen.

You’ll lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing activity across digital channels, events, communications, products and education programmes, while helping shape a stronger, more connected member experience.

This role reports to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and will work closely with senior leadership across the organisation. We’re looking for someone who brings momentum, initiative and a genuine drive to elevate marketing performance, engagement and execution across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include

  • Lead marketing strategy, planning, budgeting and performance reporting aligned to organisational and commercial priorities
  • Own and evolve the member and customer experience (CX), including lifecycle journeys across acquisition, onboarding, engagement and renewal
  • Drive integrated go-to-market campaigns across products, education, events, advocacy initiatives and member services
  • Own digital marketing performance across email, web, social, automation and search channels
  • Use data, insights and reporting to continuously improve engagement, conversion, retention and campaign effectiveness
  • Lead marketing activity for the member benefits programme and support sponsorship/partner initiatives
  • Collaborate across the business and manage agencies/suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes at pace
  • Bring fresh thinking, energy and continuous improvement to how marketing is delivered across REINZ
  • Provide clear performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership

About you

You’re a confident, commercially aware marketer who enjoys operating at pace and taking ownership. You’re proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable balancing strategy with delivery.

You know how to move work forward, build momentum and deliver quality outcomes in dynamic environments with multiple priorities. You bring strong judgement, initiative and the ability to influence positively across teams and stakeholders.

You’ll likely come from a fast-moving environment such as agency, retail, commercial, digital or high-growth marketing and be looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact.

You’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, including digital, campaign and customer lifecycle marketing
  • Strong experience across email, web, social, automation and campaign performance optimisation
  • Experience developing or improving customer/member journeys and engagement strategies
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on growth, engagement, retention and ROI
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on, with strong execution capability
  • Confidence managing multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with executive presence and initiative
  • A proactive, energetic and improvement-focused mindset
  • Experience in membership organisations, education, professional services or data-led environments is advantageous

What’s in it for you?

  • A genuinely strategic marketing role with ownership of CX and growth
  • Opportunity to influence organisation-wide member experience and revenue outcomes
  • Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • A collaborative, purpose-led organisation
  • Winter Wellbeing Day – a dedicated day each year to rest and recharge
  • Access to EAP support (RAISE) for you
  • Employee referral bonus programme
  • A flexible working environment with a focus on balance and trust
