As we continue to evolve and strengthen our marketing capability, we’re looking for an energetic and commercially minded Marketing Lead to help drive the next phase of growth and engagement.
The Role
This newly created role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is ideal for a marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys making things happen.
You’ll lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing activity across digital channels, events, communications, products and education programmes, while helping shape a stronger, more connected member experience.
This role reports to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and will work closely with senior leadership across the organisation. We’re looking for someone who brings momentum, initiative and a genuine drive to elevate marketing performance, engagement and execution across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include
- Lead marketing strategy, planning, budgeting
and performance reporting aligned to organisational and commercial priorities
- Own and evolve the member and customer
experience (CX), including lifecycle journeys across acquisition, onboarding,
engagement and renewal
- Drive integrated go-to-market campaigns across
products, education, events, advocacy initiatives and member services
- Own digital marketing performance across
email, web, social, automation and search channels
- Use data, insights and reporting to
continuously improve engagement, conversion, retention and campaign
effectiveness
- Lead marketing activity for the member
benefits programme and support sponsorship/partner initiatives
- Collaborate across the business and manage
agencies/suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes at pace
- Bring fresh thinking, energy and continuous
improvement to how marketing is delivered across REINZ
- Provide clear performance insights and
recommendations to senior leadership
About you
You’re a confident, commercially aware marketer who enjoys operating at pace and taking ownership. You’re proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable balancing strategy with delivery.
You know how to move work forward, build momentum and deliver quality outcomes in dynamic environments with multiple priorities. You bring strong judgement, initiative and the ability to influence positively across teams and stakeholders.
You’ll likely come from a fast-moving environment such as agency, retail, commercial, digital or high-growth marketing and be looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact.
You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing,
Communications, Business or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing, including
digital, campaign and customer lifecycle marketing
- Strong experience across email, web, social,
automation and campaign performance optimisation
- Experience developing or improving
customer/member journeys and engagement strategies
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on
growth, engagement, retention and ROI
- Ability to work both strategically and
hands-on, with strong execution capability
- Confidence managing multiple stakeholders,
priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and relationship
management skills with executive presence and initiative
- A proactive, energetic and improvement-focused
mindset
- Experience in membership organisations,
education, professional services or data-led environments is advantageous
