Head Barista – Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee team and ensure the highest quality of coffee and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and train a team of baristas to ensure consistent quality and customer service
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and coffee bean suppliers.
• Create and maintain a welcoming and clean coffee shop environment
• Manage inventory and ordering of coffee and supplies
• Develop and implement new coffee recipes and menu items
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain equipment and perform regular maintenance and cleaning
• Implement quality control measures for coffee preparation and service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Head Barista or in a senior coffee-making role.
• Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Certification in Advanced Barista Skills or equivalent.
