We are seeking two event leads to join our Continuing Legal Education (CLE) team in Auckland. This is a hands-on, end-to-end event delivery role where you’ll be responsible for bringing high-quality learning experiences to life for the legal profession across Aotearoa.
Reporting to the Learning Delivery Manager and working closely with the Senior Event Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of live, event‑based learning, ensuring consistently, smooth delivery and high-quality outcomes.
You’ll work alongside some of New Zealand’s leading legal minds to deliver, future‑focused learning across a wide range of learning formats including seminars, workshops, conferences, webinars, and livestreams, translating delivery plans into high‑quality experiences for learners and presenters.
Some travel and out-of-hours work is required, particularly around live event delivery.
Our ideal applicant will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in event and hospitality delivery, or similar environment.
- Proven experience coordinating live events, including venues, catering and technology platforms/ AV.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of audiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commercial awareness and demonstrated experience managing budgets and sound numeracy skills is essential.
- Have some knowledge of the law/ the legal environment or be able to demonstrate ability to gain a general knowledge of the law in a short time.
