About us 

Zonta House Refuge Association (Zonta House) is a specialist provider of family and domestic violence (FDV) services. Our purpose, values, and services have been informed through over 40 years of experience, the needs of Victim-Survivors of FDV in our community, and research in leading practice.

Zonta House provides holistic services to support individuals, children and families and facilitates education to contribute to social and systems change to prevent and stop FDV.

Victim-survivors of FDV are able to access responsive and person-centred support based on their needs to build a future free from abuse and thrive.

 

About this role

This role will work within the Pathways to Justice: Sexual Advocate and Support Service, providing advocacy and support to victim-survivors of family and domestic violence engaged with the Clinical Forensic Service program delivered by the Department of Justice.

Working closely with SARC, the successful candidate will provide specialised case management and tailored support based on each woman’s individual needs. The role will also collaborate with other service providers, WAPOL and partner agencies to ensure a coordinated, holistic response.

We have a part-time opportunity available (22.5 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract until June 2028. The position is based in Bentley.

About You

You will have demonstrated experience supporting women and children impacted by family and domestic violence, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice. You will be confident navigating court, legal and justice systems, advocating for clients, and coordinating support across government and community services.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Community Services or a related field.
  • Experience working within the family and domestic violence sector and supporting individuals experiencing crisis and complex needs.
  • Knowledge of court processes, legal systems and government services, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Experience in case management, risk assessment, safety planning and developing holistic support plans.
  • Strong understanding of referral pathways and the community services sector.
  • Excellent written communication, record keeping and stakeholder engagement skills.

 

The successful candidate will need to possess:

  • National Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Valid WA Driver’s Licence with a good driving record
  • Department of Justice Screening (to apply upon commencement)
