We are currently offering three exciting junior opportunities for motivated Agricultural Science students who are passionate about Australian agriculture and eager to learn from experienced industry professionals.

We’re recruiting for:

  • Junior Agronomist
  • Junior Horticulturist
  • Junior Livestock Production Adviser

These full-time positions provide hands-on experience, ongoing mentoring and the opportunity to build a rewarding career supporting local producers across one of Australia’s most productive agricultural regions.

About the Opportunities

Working alongside experienced specialists, you’ll develop your technical knowledge while building strong relationships with customers and learning the practical side of agricultural consulting.

Junior Agronomist

You’ll support broadacre growers by assisting with crop production advice and agronomic services.

You’ll:

  • Assist in providing agronomic advice and crop production solutions
  • Participate in on-farm visits and customer support
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Recommend products and services to meet customer needs
  • Learn to identify opportunities that improve productivity and profitability

Junior Horticulturist

You’ll work with horticultural producers to support productive and sustainable farming operations.

You’ll:

  • Assist with soil and tissue testing
  • Support crop planning and water management strategies
  • Learn to provide technical advice and customer support
  • Recommend products and services
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and new technologies

Junior Livestock Production Adviser

You’ll support livestock producers with practical advice that improves animal performance and business outcomes.

You’ll:

  • Assist with livestock nutrition, health and production advice
  • Build relationships with livestock producers
  • Support farm planning, stock forecasting and customer service
  • Learn to identify livestock management opportunities
  • Develop your technical knowledge through ongoing training

About You

To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • A current driver’s licence
  • Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, specialising in Agronomy, Horticulture or Livestock Production
  • A genuine passion for agriculture and working with producers
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • The ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role

A pre-employment medical will be required for the successful candidates.
