Our team works closely with primary producers, businesses, property owners and individuals across a broad range of industries. Through our diverse range of services, we assist clients with risk management and insurance solutions, livestock and agency services, water transactions and real estate needs.
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Griffith team as an Insurance Broker, working full time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm (with a 1 hour lunch break).
The successful applicant will be a professional and client-focused individual with a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate of Insurance or equivalent accreditation, OR Tier 1 or Tier 2 Financial Services Accreditation
- Previous experience in general insurance broking (approximately 1-2 years preferred)
- Experience within agribusiness and rural insurance will be highly regarded
- A strong understanding of insurance legislation and compliance obligations
- Experience working with insurer systems and processes
- Competent computer and phone skills, with experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a diverse portfolio of insurance clients across various industries and locations
- Provide professional insurance advice and support to clients
- Assist with policy management, renewals, documentation and client enquiries
- Work with insurers and internal stakeholders to deliver effective insurance solutions
- Ensure compliance requirements and industry standards are maintained
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and service

The S&B Insurance team consists of three full-time brokers managing a large and diverse client portfolio. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment while also having the ability to take ownership of their responsibilities and work independently.
