The Wheatbelt Health Network (WHN) is a Not for Profit (NFP) Primary Healthcare Service Provider delivering integrated, multi-disciplined GP, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Diabetic Education, Aboriginal Health and Pathology Collection. Many of these services are also delivered via outreach to remote communities.

About the role:

The Network seeks expressions of interest to take on the role of Practice Nurse (RN) to work between our Northam site. Working hours will be Monday to Friday between 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.

Essential Selection Criteria:

Registered Nurse with Unconditional AHPRA registration

A strong work focus with commitment to high professional standards and ethics

Understanding of Chronic Disease, Health Assessments, Care Plans and Team Care Arrangements

Have a high level of communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and within the team

An understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) would be an advantage but not essential

High level of computer literacy, able to learn new software programs. A knowledge of Best Practice would be an advantage but not essential

Current understanding of Vaccines and National Immunisation Program certificate

Must have a current Police Clearance, Working with Children’s Certificate, WA Driver’s Licence and must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
