🚀 About the Opportunity
This is an exciting time to join WEG Australia.
For many years, our Perth operations have been supported by a third-party warehouse provider. As part of our continued growth in Western Australia, we are now establishing our own dedicated warehouse facility and bringing warehousing operations in-house.
As our Warehouse Storeperson, you’ll be involved from the beginning in helping set up the warehouse, organise stock locations, transition inventory from our external provider, and establish efficient warehousing processes that will support our customers across WA.
This is a unique opportunity to make a genuine impact, contribute ideas, and become a foundational member of a growing team.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products while maintaining exceptional safety and service standards.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and establishment of WEG’s new Perth warehouse operation
- Coordinate and support the transfer of inventory from our third-party logistics provider
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery documentation
- Safely unload, store, and organise stock within the warehouse
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and inventory systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and warehouse efficiencies
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
