Electrical Engineer

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing Perth Engineering team, supporting the increasing demand for critical minerals and battery metals projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for and have the following qualifications and/or skills:

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and oversee electrical systems for mining, mineral processing, and other industrial projects.
• Perform electrical calculations (load studies, cable sizing, equipment sizing) and prepare specification documentation for electrical equipment.
• Produce development of electrical design documentation, including single line diagrams (SLDs), schematics and termination drawings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver efficient, tailored engineering solutions.
• Support site activities including commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and technical inspections when required.

Skills and Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in electrical engineering design, commissioning, and testing within mining or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics and control systems.
• Demonstrated experience in detail design Electrical Engineering

This role would suit a mid-level electrical engineer looking to broaden their experience across Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C). It offers the opportunity to work across all three disciplines, develop well-rounded technical capability, and build expertise as an EI&C subject matter expert while progressing toward a senior engineering role.
