The Role
Sydney Recycling Parks is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Weighbridge Operator / Administrator to join our busy Kemps Creek site. This is a key frontline role supporting site operations, customers, and drivers in a fast-paced waste management environment.

What you’ll be doing
This role sits at the heart of our operations. You’ll be responsible for accurately recording all inbound and outbound loads via the weighbridge, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the site with essential administrative tasks.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re organised, confident with systems, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Operating and recording transactions through the weighbridge system
- Accurate data entry, record keeping and multitasking in a busy environment
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Providing professional customer service to drivers and clients
- Processing EFTPOS transactions and assisting with basic accounts/admin tasks
- Communicating effectively with site staff, drivers and customers
- Supporting general office and site administration as required
About You
- Waste Industry / Scrap Metal experience (desirable)
- Previous weighbridge or admin experience (advantageous)
- Strong computer skills and confidence using systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver’s licence (required)
- Able to pass a medical and regular random Drug & Alcohol testing
