Description

At Vitalis Healthcare at Home, we believe that everyone deserves to live with independence, dignity, and joy in the place they love most, their own home. We are a leading, Australian-owned and operated provider of in-home care and support. Our mission is simple yet profound: to enable older Australians and people living with disability to thrive in their communities by providing exceptional, personalised care that feels less like a service and more like an extension of family.

Your new role:

Your day will be varied and meaningful, focused on promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care: Providing respectful assistance with daily living activities such as complex bowel care, showering, feeding
  • Companionship & Social Support: Building positive relationships through conversation, shared activities, and community access.
  • Professional Documentation: Accurately completing documentation

About You:

We are looking for people with the right attitude and heart. Formal experience is valuable, but a genuine passion for care is essential.

  • Essential: A current Australian Driver’s Licence and your own reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Essential: A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) and a First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • Essential: The right to work in Australia (no student visas)
  • Highly Regarded: A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar) or equivalent experience.
  • Desired Experience: Peg feeding, Pelican belts and Catherters
  • Availability: Flexibility between 8am – 1pm or 3pm to 8pm x 3 days per week (days to be determined).

We offer:

  • Meaningful Work: See the direct positive impact of your efforts.
  • Flexible Hours: We work with you to build a roster that balances your life and our clients’ needs.
  • Investment in You: We provide comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Supportive Culture: Be part of a caring team with 24/7 support from our coordination office and a dedicated supervisor.

Ready to Apply? If you are looking for a role where your work truly matters, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why you are drawn to a career in home care.

NB: Please be advised that we will not be accepting applicants with student visas at this time.
