Checking Officer/Warehouse Operative

We are looking for experienced Checking Officers/Warehouse Workers to join our client. Join their warehousing facility entering an exciting growth phase in their new State of the Art warehouse.

This is a very important role in the supply chain process & ability to focus, concentrate, work quickly yet accurately is paramount. Mistakes can be very costly!!!

The successful applicant MUST HAVE:

• Past experience in an environment where you are checking/analysing stock or data
• Using RF scanner or matching paperwork to stock picked
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent numeracy & literacy skills
• This is a cold storage warehouse … so you will be working across ambient & chilled rooms (0 to -5 degrees)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Labouring & Container unloading is required as part of this role … you must be fit & strong … willing & able to lift up to 25kg as required

• FULL TIME HOURS – AM Shift – 6am to 2pm – Monday to Friday
• You must have full working rights in Australia (no Visa opportunities)
• You must have a current drivers licence & reliable car
• You must have or be willing to get a Police Check

You will be responsible for checking & verifying the accuracy outgoing product loading within a fast-paced environment. Your daily tasks will include inspecting all outgoing shipments with appropriate documentation or RF scanner, ensuring accuracy of quantities, description & packaging. Photographic evidence required & preparing reports on any discrepancies, damage or non-compliant items.

We only want reliable, switched on & super fit workers who can do what it takes to get the orders out to customers on time. This is a rewarding yet manual & physical role so being able to be on your feet for long periods of time, labouring & lifting up to 25kg required.
