Role Type
Description
What if your next L&D role wasn’t just about delivering learning – but transforming how learning happens?
About Trilogy Care
We’re one of Australia’s fastest growing home care providers, empowering older Australians to live independently in the home they love for longer. We’re investing heavily in AI and technology across every part of the business, and our People & Culture team is no exception. We’re looking for someone who can make our learning systems work harder, smarter, and faster, and who’s equally comfortable presenting in front of a room as they are configuring a system.
About the Role
This is a hands-on delivery role. You’ll own learning programs end to end: needs analysis, content design, facilitation, LMS management, and impact reporting. You’ll run onboarding, coordinate compliance training, contribute to leadership development, and partner with managers across the business to turn capability gaps into practical solutions.
What sets this apart from a traditional L&D role is how you work. You won’t design a workshop manually when AI can draft it. You won’t compile compliance reports by hand when a dashboard can. The outcome is the same, great learning and measurable capability uplift, but the method is modern and efficient. The balance is roughly even: half your time creating and delivering learning, half your time using systems and technology to do it better and faster.
You’ll own:
- Program design & content: Technical skills, compliance, leadership, wellbeing and professional development, with AI embedded in content, assessment and microlearning development.
- Facilitation & delivery: Face-to-face, virtual and blended learning across onboarding, compliance, systems training and capability programs.
- Onboarding: End-to-end onboarding, from scheduling and communications to facilitation, feedback and continuous improvement.
- Training needs analysis: Identifying skill gaps with leaders and managers and translating them into targeted learning solutions.
- LMS management: Publishing content, managing enrolments, automated pathways, completion tracking and learner support.
- Automation: Trigger-based enrolments, compliance reminders and role-specific learning pathways.
- Reporting & evaluation: Dashboards and reporting on completion, compliance, feedback and capability trends.
- Vendors & stakeholders: Sourcing, coordinating and evaluating external providers for quality, alignment and value.
What Makes This Different
Technology is at the core of this L&D role. You’ll own learning systems, automation and AI, while facilitating impactful programs. If you’re someone who fixes the LMS, streamlines processes and brings learning to life, you’ll thrive here. AI is already embedded across the business, you’ll be expected to use it, optimize it and show its value.
About You
- Design & facilitation: Experience designing and delivering face-to-face, virtual and blended learning using adult learning principles.
- Content & AI: Able to create high-quality learning content and use generative AI as part of your everyday workflow.
- LMS & technology: Hands-on experience with LMS administration, reporting and basic automation, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Data & insight: Comfortable interpreting learning data and turning metrics into action.
- Stakeholders: Strong at needs analysis, stakeholder engagement and translating business needs into learning solutions.
- Delivery: Highly organised and able to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable: Experience in regulated/high-volume environments, Employment Hero/Go1, Articulate 360 or similar, leadership development and automation tools.
Qualifications: 5–8 years’ L&D/OD experience, relevant qualification s – TAE40116/TAE40122 (or equivalent)
