Position: Support Workers

Multiple Positions

Multiple Locations across northern-southern suburbs of Adelaide

About the role: The Support worker role will support our clients by implementing already acquired skills to support clients with day-to-day activities such as assisting participants in rebuilding and retraining in skills of daily living, including personal care, domestic assistance, social/community support, transport and completing support/shift notes to compliance standards.

This role will have a specific focus on the client’s functional ability and compliance in the delivery of service, ensuring all appointments and reports are implemented. This position is offered as a casual contract position with recurring shifts and to be considered for permanent employment after a period.

Qualifications/ Selection Criteria:

✅ Min Certificate III/IV/diploma in Disability and/or Mental Health and/or relevant experience

✅Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

✅Current full Driver’s License & Registered Vehicle (Mandatory as we have clients which require community participation).

✅Current Working with Children Check

✅Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

✅MAPA Training desirable

✅Demonstrated understanding of a person-centred approach

✅Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to connect with others

✅Ability to follow individual support plans

✅Fluency in English highly desirable or English must be your first language (Need fluency and minimal accent due to having some nonverbal clients who are in a stage of speech development.)
