Description

About The Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Arabic-speaking Support Workers to join our Home Caring Bankstown team. This role involves providing personalised support to our Aged care and NDIS participants in their homes and local communities around Ryde NSW 2112, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, feeding and domestic tasks
  • Support participants with mobility, transport, and community access
  • Encourage independence and meaningful engagement in activities
  • Follow individualised support plans and ensure participant safety at all times
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the wider care team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in disability, aged care, or community support (preferred but not essential)
  • Fluent in Arabic is preferred
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
