TDC is a community-focused organisation working across Wadeye and Darwin. Our workforce operates in a unique remote environment, requiring HR solutions that are practical, flexible, culturally appropriate and responsive to operational realities.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside local staff, managers and senior leaders to build capability, strengthen our workforce and create a workplace where people can succeed.

You’ll lead a broad HR portfolio covering:

• Recruitment, retention and workforce development
• HR strategy, workforce planning and organisational capability
• Employee and industrial relations, including Enterprise Agreement negotiations
• Performance management, grievances, disciplinary and complex employee matters
• Awards, legislation, policies and employment compliance
• Learning, development, coaching and leadership support
• Remuneration, reward and recognition
• WHS, workers’ compensation, injury management and return-to-work
• HR reporting, systems and continuous improvement
• Leading and developing a small HR team
• Based in Darwin with regular travel to Wadeye

Other requirements

• Current minimum C Class driver’s licence
• National Police Check (with assistance)
• Northern Land Council Work Permit (with assistance)
