Pymble Dermatology, a fast-paced and growing dermatology practice, is offering a permanent full-time Registered Nurse position at the Upper North Shore. 1. Registered nurse holding current and valid registration with the Australian College of Nursing

2. Experienced dermatology nurses will have the advantage

3. Able to work independently in a busy dermatology practice

4. Able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment

Roles and responsibilities

– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

– Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and treatments

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

– Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards

– Assisting Dermatologists with surgeries and procedures, skin biopsies, excisions and wound care.

– UVB Phototherapy

– Photodynamic therapy (PDT)

– Patch test

– Assisting doctor with biological treatment

– Taking and managing clinical photos

– Provide patient education and wound care, follow-up phone calls and results.

– Cleaning/sterilising duties

– Working to complete daily tasks/checklists /ordering
