Job Description: Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate Physiotherapists to join our professional and friendly team as we expand our services. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing initial assessments and ongoing treatments to older persons on Home Care packages, STRC packages, and adult NDIS participants with primarily physical/neuro disabilities. This is a full-time position located around the Sutherland Shire and St George Area in Sydney, New South Wales.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct initial physiotherapy assessments for clients on Home Care packages, STRC packages, and adult NDIS participants.

– Provide ongoing treatment to clients with physical/neuro disabilities.

– Travel to clients’ homes for physiotherapy assessments and interventions.

– Complete accurate documentation and application reports.

– Liaise with service providers and other team members.

– Provide administrative support including diary scheduling and billing support.

Skills:

– Recent graduates or experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.

– AHPRA registration is required.

– NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) or willingness to apply for one is necessary.

– Professional indemnity and liability insurance is required.

– Possess a current driver’s license.

– Demonstrated understanding of the complex needs of elderly clients, as well as adults with physical disabilities or neurological conditions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

2. AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist

3. NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) certification or willingness to obtain one

4. Professional indemnity and liability insurance coverage

5. Valid driver’s license

Desirable but not essential qualifications/skills:

1. Previous home-based physiotherapy experience

2. Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
