About the Role

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Service Delivery Team Leader is responsible for providing operational leadership and coordination across Community Services operations.

You will lead Scheduling and Dispatch operations, Group Travel programs, volunteer coordination, and daily service delivery activities to ensure safe, efficient and client-focused outcomes for the community.

Working closely with employees, volunteers and stakeholders, you will play an important role in delivering positive experiences and outcomes for the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Scheduling, Dispatch and Group Travel operations
  • Coordinate staff, volunteers, vehicles and operational resources
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and client-focused team culture
  • Support onboarding, coaching, workforce planning and operational coverage
  • Coordinate community transport and social connection programs
  • Monitor operational performance, compliance and fleet utilisation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service enhancements
  • Build positive relationships with clients, volunteers and stakeholders

About You

You are an organised and people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgement, and a passion for community service.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in transport operations, scheduling, dispatch or fleet coordination
  • Leadership or team coordination experience
  • Experience working with volunteers or within community services, aged care or disability sectors
  • Strong administrative and computer skills
  • Excellent coaching, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to leadership

Essential Requirements

  • Current Queensland Driver Licence
  • National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current Driver Authorisation (or ability to obtain)
  • Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
