Description

About Us:

SSN Projects is a specialist project logistics and freight forwarding business. We move complex, construction project cargo for clients who depend on us getting it right — and that only works because our warehouse and transport coordination is efficient, accurate, and reliable.

About the Role:

This is the role that keeps our sites supplied and our system honest. You’ll enter and check shipment data daily, keep the warehouse system accurate, managing transport movements and coordinate with our site manager, warehouse teams, and transport partners to get stock where it needs to be — on time, every time.

No two days are the same, and you’ll be juggling several moving parts at once — so if you like variety and staying on top of detail, you’ll enjoy this.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily transport and warehousing activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist in the management of accurate inventory levels and stock control.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Monitor and report on transport and warehousing performance metrics.
  • Support the implementation of health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for shipments and deliveries.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

This role can be taught. What we can’t teach is the right attitude — so above all, we want someone who:

  • Brings energy and a positive, can-do approach every day
  • Takes real pride in accuracy — the details matter here
  • Can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Owns problems and communicates early, rather than waiting to be asked
  • Genuinely enjoys being part of a supportive, hands-on team

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a logistics or warehousing role will be reviewed but not essential.
  • Proven ability to multitask.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Professional communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Carton Cloud software is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is an advantage.

Our promise to you:

  • $55,000–$70,000 + super, commensurate with experience
  • Full training and support to set you up for success
  • A close-knit team that backs each other and gets stuck in
  • Real variety — no two days look the same
  • Room to grow as SSN Projects grows

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you — apply now.
