Join our team as a passionate and experienced Disability Support Worker

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Disability Support Worker in a casual position, located in Balga WA 6061. We have a variety of shifts during the day, afternoon and overnight.

This role requires an experienced and compassionate individual to provide high-quality personal care, including assistance with daily activities for a participant with complex needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for medication administration, following mealtime management plans, and adhering to manual handling and behaviour support plans. A strong understanding of restrictive practices is essential.

Additionally, the position involves comprehensive documentation, including incident reporting and case noting, as well as monitoring vital signs such as temperature and blood oxygen levels. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have compassion and experience working with those facing various life challenges, including interacting with people living with disabilities.

Students currently enrolled in nursing or experience with allied health professionals will be highly regarded.
