We are seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time Head Dog Trainers for our clients in the Heathcote region. As a Head Dog Trainer, you will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency, delivering all program offerings, and upholding operational standards. This role involves leading a team to consistently achieve quality dog training outcomes while educating and engaging pet owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting behavioural modification for dogs in structured training programs.
- Managing and delivering quality outcomes for various training programs.
- Educating dog owners to successfully maintain training schedules for ongoing success in the home environment.
- Achieving budgeted Dog Training sales goals by driving sales and building client databases.
- Recording and documenting training plans and session notes.
- Training and developing junior dog trainers.
- Undertaking animal welfare duties associated with training dogs.
About You
We are looking for results-driven individuals with:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a professional dog trainer, working with families and individuals across various fields of dog training.
- Ability to implement training strategies based on proven animal behaviour methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey the benefits of training to dog owners.
- Motivation to work in a team environment and contribute ideas and suggestions.
- Positive attitude and ability to make objective decisions.
- Administration skills and experience in maintaining records and team management.
- Current Australian driver’s license and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
Physical Requirements: This role involves active and physical work both indoors and outdoors, including hands-on interaction with dogs. The ability to lift, carry, and restrain animals up to 50kg is essential.
