Disability Support Worker

URGENT SEEKING We’re currently hiring for a Disability Support Worker role with an ongoing Sunday only shift available (3 hours weekly) in Oran Park. We’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and easy going who genuinely enjoys supporting people in the community.

There may be additional hours available as we onboard new clients throughout June. You may also be introduced to some of our existing clients and potentially be offered back up shifts moving forward.

Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid & CPR
• Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle preferred
• Police Check

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
• Monitor and report on clients’ progress and any changes in their condition to the appropriate professionals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• A genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
