Description

Electrician | Residential Service & Maintenance

You’re a great electrician. You deserve a company that backs you.

At Ruttley Services, we’re looking for an experienced electrician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and genuinely cares about looking after customers.

We’re proud of the team and business we’ve built, but we’re always looking for ways to improve. We don’t expect anyone to be the finished product—we’re looking for good people who care about getting better.

About the Role

This is a residential service and maintenance position, not construction.

You’ll attend pre-booked appointments, diagnose electrical faults, explain the available options and provide clear on-site quotes. Once the customer has approved the work, you’ll complete it safely and to a standard you’re proud to put your name to.

The work includes:

  • Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
  • Residential repairs and maintenance
  • Switchboard and safety upgrades
  • Power and lighting installations
  • Smoke alarms and appliance circuits
  • Electrical safety inspections
  • Preparing and presenting on-site quotes
  • Explaining recommendations clearly to homeowners
  • Completing accurate testing and job documentation

Our office team manages the bookings, scheduling, customer communication and job administration, allowing you to focus on delivering great work and looking after your customers.

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a current NSW Electrical Licence
  • Hold a current Australian Driver Licence
  • Have residential service, maintenance or upgrade experience
  • Are confident with fault-finding and diagnostics
  • Can communicate clearly and professionally with customers
  • Are comfortable preparing and presenting on-site quotes
  • Take pride in clean, safe and high-quality workmanship
  • Are reliable, organised and able to manage a booked schedule
  • Want to continue learning and developing your skills
