Summary:

As a Barista at our North Sydney Shoppingworld location, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. This permanent, full-time position within the Defence & Military sector requires a passion for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating areas
• Engage with customers to provide a friendly and efficient service
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation and customer service standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions
• A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
