We are a long-established Business Services & Tax Accounting Firm with brand new offices based in the Business & Technology Precinct “Westlink Green” in Darra in the Western suburbs of Brisbane. The Role
You will:
- Be able to prepare Financial Statements to tax reconciliation stage.
- Understand concepts of Division 7a, FBT, and Small Business entity concessions.
- Assist clients with software and technology issues they experience.
- Liaise with the ATO or ASIC to negotiate payment plans, lodgement dates and the like.
- Have direct contact with clients and the ability to maintain your own client portfolio.
- Maintain client relationships via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
- Work closely with your mentor and the team to learn all you can.
- Be able to focus on the job at hand and turn it around quickly.
- Collaborate with senior management on client projects.
- Be provided with clear career progression including professional development training opportunities and management roles for the right candidate.
- If applicable, be provided with CA/CPA support including financial support, mentoring, study leave days.
- Have the ability to work from home.
Minimum Candidate Criteria:
- Genuine interest in business.
- Have started, be part way through or have completed your CA/CPA studies.
- Good written and verbal communication
- Be able to grasp new software easily, and be proficient in main Microsoft products.
- Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst also being able to work with others effectively – a team player
- Be organised and be able to manage multiple tasks – manage up the line and down the line.
This is a full-time role with flexibility, or part-time is available for the right person. The salary range on offer for full-time is between $60k – $100k + super + incentives dependent on experience and capability.
