The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our team based in Beresfield, NSW. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will provide financial support, analysis, reporting and advice to operational leaders, helping drive informed decision-making and strong financial performance across the business.
This is a hands-on and commercially focused role, suited to someone who enjoys working closely with operations, identifying financial risks and opportunities, improving processes, and delivering clear and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly financial reports.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, WIP reports and operational performance reports.
- Perform financial analysis through the review and questioning of transactions.
- Review finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare ATO lodgements.
- Process fortnightly payroll.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing.
- Manage subcontractor debt and overcharge resolution.
- Review credit card purchases and manage balances as required.
About You:
- You will be a capable finance professional with strong commercial acumen, excellent analytical skills and the ability to partner effectively with operational teams.
- You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be confident managing multiple competing priorities, and have a strong attention to detail.
- You will be comfortable interrogating financial information, identifying trends or risks, and communicating insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- You will also bring a proactive approach to process improvement, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to work autonomously while remaining highly collaborative.
Essential Requirements:
- Accounting qualifications.
- Advanced knowledge of financial ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience preparing financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Experience processing payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of finance processes, compliance requirements and financial controls.
Our Benefits:
- Competitive salary package of $110,000 – $130,000 excluding superannuation commensurate with candidate skills and experience.
