About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of insurance restoration projects from commencement through to completion. You will lead trades and subcontractors, ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently, and maintain the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.Success in this role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance project timelines, budgets, quality, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple insurance building and restoration projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project outcomes.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the construction process.
• Ensure all works comply with WHS legislation, building standards, and company procedures.
• Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Identify and resolve construction and operational issues before they impact delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, assessors, insurers, brokers, and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to supervisors and project teams.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Drive a culture focused on safety, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.

About You

You are an experienced construction professional with a proven track record of successfully managing building projects.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory, Site Management, or Construction Management role.
• Strong understanding of residential and commercial building practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
• Current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within the insurance building, restoration, repair, or disaster recovery industry.
• Diploma or Certificate IV in Building & Construction or relevant qualification.
• Domestic Builder Registration or trade qualification.
• Experience using construction management software.
