Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families? Join our team and help provide high-quality, client-focused care as part of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Community Nursing Program.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Deliver holistic, person-centred nursing care to eligible DVA clients.

• Support veterans to maintain their independence and quality of life at home.

• Provide comprehensive assessments, care planning, and monitoring.

• Administer medications, manage wound care, and provide health education.

• Document care in accordance with DVA and professional standards.

• Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

• A passion for working with veterans and providing exceptional care.

• Strong knowledge of DVA guidelines and community nursing practices (or willingness to learn).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Current CPR certificate and police clearance.

• Professional indemnity insurance.

• A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport (for community visits).
