Description

Powerlift Industries (PLI) has been awarded a five-year MSA with Rio Tinto Iron Ore Cranes and Transport to supply VOC Crane Operators. We’re also growing our casual shutdown pool to support work across BHP, FMG, HIO and CPM sites.

 

If you’re an experienced Crane Operator who is committed to safety, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering quality outcomes – we’d love to have you on board. Immediate starts are available for suitable operators.

Candidates can either be FIFO ex Perth, or local to Karratha or surrounding areas.

ABOUT YOU

  • Crane Operator – CO
  • Experience in Liebherr Cranes (55T – 300T)
  • Min 3 years’ crane operating experience
  • Able to work autonomously as well in a team
  • Able to follow instructions and show initiative
  • Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are met for the yard and its employees
  • Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid right to work in Australia (mandatory)
  • Current Australian (HR) drivers licence (mandatory)
  • Valid High Risk Work Licence (mandatory)
  • Minimum RI and CN/ CO qualification (mandatory)
  • WAH (mandatory)
  • Demonstrate Fire Attack (mandatory)
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Rio Tinto Inducted (Highly Preferred)
  • Current VOC’s (Highly Preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol screening test.
  • Ability to gain access to RTIO and similar mine sites
