Summary:

The Radiologist will be responsible for using medical imaging technologies to diagnose and treat medical conditions, analysing and interpreting medical imaging results, communicating findings to other physicians and medical professionals, and providing consultations to referring physicians on diagnosis and treatment options. They must have a Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited University, Residency and Fellowship in Radiology, Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology, and a valid Medical License in the state where practicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Using medical imaging technologies to diagnose and treat medical conditions
  • Analysing and interpreting medical imaging results
  • Communicating findings to other physicians and medical professionals
  • Providing consultations to referring physicians on diagnosis and treatment options
  • Evaluating and monitoring patient progress
  • Recommending additional diagnostic tests if necessary
  • Keeping accurate patient records and reports
  • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques
  • Providing guidance to other healthcare professionals who use imaging technologies

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited University
  • Residency and Fellowship in Radiology
  • Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology
  • A valid Medical License in the state where practicing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
