Digital Designer

This role sits within the Design team, at the intersection of graphic and web design. We’re looking for someone who genuinely spans both – as interested in why a page converts as in how it looks. Marketing is your primary internal client: you’ll turn briefs into campaign assets, digital ads, and email creative, then design and build the landing pages those campaigns point to, iterating with Marketing based on the data. A genuine interest in fintech and the pace of a high-growth tech environment will help you thrive here.

Responsibilities

Web design & conversion

  • Design marketing web pages and landing pages from initial concept through to a live, performant page.
  • Approach every page with a conversion lens: think critically about layout, hierarchy, copy flow, and calls to action in the context of campaign goals and user behaviour.
  • Partner with Marketing to review performance data, identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, and iterate on existing pages based on what the numbers say.
  • Collaborate with developers where needed, handing off designs that are well-considered, properly documented, and ready to build from.

Campaign & Digital Creative

  • Produce engaging digital and UI-focused creative assets, including landing pages, website marketing materials, and campaign visuals.
  • Strong experience creating high-quality digital assets across social media, paid advertising, email marketing, and other digital channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple briefs simultaneously while maintaining a strong balance between speed, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Motion graphics or print production skills are a bonus, but not essential.

Design practice

  • Help build and maintain shared design libraries and systems that keep the team working at pace without drifting off brand.
  • Stay across design trends and emerging tools and bring relevant ideas back to the team.

About You

  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong work across both digital marketing creative (social, display, email) and web design.
  • Proficient in Figma – it’s our primary design tool and central to how we collaborate across the team.
  • Familiarity with basic front-end concepts (HTML, CSS) – enough to have an informed conversation with a developer.
  • A strong grasp of design principles, typography, colour, and layout, applied with an eye for how design drives action – not just how it looks.
  • Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Some exposure to conversion rate optimisation principles or performance-driven design, including A/B testing or structured CRO experiments – you don’t need to be an expert, but you should be able to have the conversation.
  • 3–5 years of professional design experience, ideally in a marketing, agency, or high-growth tech environment.

Bonus: AI-native prototyping. If you can use tools like Cursor, v0, Lovable, or Claude to prototype an HTML page or component – at a fidelity a developer can reasonably pick up and ship from – that’s a genuine differentiator, and we’ll actively give you space to work this way. Not a hard requirement, but a significant plus.

We know not everyone will meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If you’re excited about the role and believe you can make an impact, we’re keen to hear from you.

A few more things…

Successful candidates joining the team will need to complete a National Police Record Check.

Candidates who require adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process are encouraged to let us know. We’re happy to support you.

We’re committed to an inclusive and diverse recruitment process where everyone feels respected and supported. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities and abilities and ensure fair, equitable consideration at every stage.
