Are you passionate about authentic Italian pizza and looking to be part of one of Sydney’s most exciting restaurant openings?

Pizza’Mare is seeking talented and enthusiastic Pizza Chefs to join our opening team at Crown Sydney in Barangaroo. Working alongside experienced hospitality professionals, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional wood-fired pizzas while helping shape a dynamic new dining destination.

About Pizza’Mare

Pizza’Mare is the newest concept from Maestro Hospitality and forms part of the exciting a’Mare 2.0 precinct at Crown Sydney. Celebrating the simplicity and authenticity of Italian pizza and pasta, Pizza’Mare brings together premium ingredients, traditional techniques, and warm Italian hospitality in a vibrant waterfront setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality wood-fired pizzas to company standards
  • Assisting with dough preparation, fermentation, and daily mise en place
  • Maintaining consistency in presentation, portion control, and product quality
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and HACCP standards are maintained at all times
  • Contributing to a positive team culture and exceptional guest experience
  • Assisting with stock rotation, storage, and kitchen organisation

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or Pizza Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong understanding of traditional pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation and wood-fired oven operation
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for Italian cuisine and hospitality
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Valid Australian working rights
