Description

Path Bookkeeping is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is ideally a full-time position, however we may offer flexibility for the right candidate.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 3–5+ years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Experience using Xero and/or MYOB, and other payroll software programs, such as Employment Hero
  • Experience with preparing workpapers
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

About the Role

You will work closely with a portfolio of clients, managing their day-to-day bookkeeping and supporting their financial operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage client inboxes and queries
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Complete end-of-month reconciliations and journals
  • Prepare Activity Statements (BAS/IAS)
  • Provide end to end payroll processing

This is an office-based role in Tamworth.
