About the role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Carousel Pick/Forklift Operator for ongoing work with an immediate start at our Buchanan farm. As our Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for:
• Operating forklift
• Moving pallets of dry goods/egg cartons
• Loading and offloading of refrigerated vehicles, ensuring stock rotation by Best Before Dates.
• Record movements of leased pallets and containers accurately.
• Assisting with packing of orders and completion.
• Assist with compliance of load plans and transport schedules.
• Help maintain cleanliness and security in the warehouse.
• Adhere to OH&S policies and company procedures.

Role Details (PM SHIFT)
Monday to Thursday – 2.45PM – 11PM
Saturday 6.00AM – 3.00PM
Flexibility beyond this time, if needed, would be preferred.
Location: Buchanan which is 40 minutes from Newcastle, 10 minutes from Kurri Kurri
Salary: From $33.38 per hour + penalty rates.

Requirements
• Proven experience in warehousing
• Valid forklift licence and hands on experience operating forklifts
• Clear communication skills, both when working independently and interacting as part of a team.
• A pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening is required
• A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a car.
